About Us

Faust Design Build is owned and operated by brother and sister duo Michael Faust and Jacklyn Faust Maietta. The pair grew up in Beacon and spent countless hours on job sites with their father who was a general contractor and taught them all the tricks of the trade. They learned how to run a company from their mother—who remains a part of the business today. After each running their own successful construction and design businesses for many years (Queen City Redevelopment Corp. and Jacklyn Faust Interiors) the pair joined forces in 2021 to bring the best of both worlds together.

Michael is an entrepreneur and owns multiple businesses in Dutchess County. He took over Queen City Redevelopment Corp. from his father. Since then, he’s been restoring and renovating homes all over the Hudson Valley. Teaming up with his sister Jacklyn was the next step in bringing a true full-service construction and renovation firm to the area.   

Jacklyn graduated from Parsons School of Design and has a background working for architectural firms. She spent the early part of her career working on construction drawings, spatial layouts, and guiding clients in their material finish selections. As time went on, Jacklyn began working on more residential projects and founded Jacklyn Faust Interiors which she ran for more than 10 years before joining forces with her brother to create Faust Design Build—offering clients full-service renovations. 

Starting a renovation is overwhelming—and that’s where we come in. Each of us brings something unique to the table—from inspiration and design plans, to project management and construction, rest assured we’ve got you covered every step of the way. We are a full-service design and construction company, focusing on large scale projects, which means your cost will include everything from initial floor plans and design boards to materials and physical labor. This helps with keeping the project organized, on time and on budget.

Michael will be your main point of contact coordinating with all of the contractors, painters, electricians, plumbers etc. so you don’t have to. Jacklyn will design your space starting with mood boards, creating floor plans and 3D renderings to make your vision come to life. When the project is done, Jacklyn will also help with the sourcing of furniture and accessories and styling the space.
